An EPC informs you about the energy performance of a property. It is the seller’s requirement to prepare and provide a commercial EPC prior to the property being marketed.
Energy ratings on an EPC vary from A (most energy efficient) to G (most energy inefficient). The EPC ratings should be better for newer properties than older buildings. A copy of the EPC will be included in the legal pack.
You should seek advice and help from a commercial EPC consultant on how to lower your carbon footprint and reduce your utility bills.
